Entrepreneurial competence perceived by university students: Quantitative and descriptive analysis

According to the scientific literature, entrepreneur is key entrepreneurship, which an essential process for economic and social development of a country. Within framework psychological traits or attributes entrepreneur, entrepreneurial skills vocation, are prelude intention behaviour, currently necessary – considering that young people will form next generation entrepreneurs higher education plays fundamental role in entrepreneurship. This paper's main objective analyse university students' perceptions about their competence vocation entrepreneurship this context. The research has been carried out sample Spanish students (N=380) using quantitative, descriptive, discriminant methodology. obtained results allow us conclude view competencies positively have but do not consider themselves competent self-efficient. Further, specific significant gender differences identified people's perceptions, line with other authors' conclusions GEM reports. All these findings, make up novel contributions, great use promoting university.
